how to write your past self a love letter: a simple & accessible guide for a powerful self-love practice 💌

hi sweet friend 💕

writing a love letter to your past self can be a powerful & potentially healing expression of gratitude, care, & love for everything they've done for us. it can also be a path towards self-forgiveness, moving forward after painful experiences, & so much more 💕

i wrote my past self a love letter because i’m here today because of my them. they worked so fcking hard to get me to this very moment. they went through so much & i’m STILL HERE, despite everything, because of THEM. i want my past self & the difficult work they did to survive to be appreciated. i want to share my gratitude & love for them.

that’s my why. what’s yours?
