On Digital Violence & Online Abuse: A Mini-Zine

Iβve been thinking about digital violence a lot lately. Iβve been writing & posting about it over on Instagram, where folks shared this conversation was desperately needed. There are so many survivors who have experienced abuse, stalking, & harassment online; violence that is often dismissed.

Earlier this week, I decided I wanted to start a zine series, βOn Digital Violence & Online Abuse,β to talk about this more, to remind folks that abuse, violence, & stalking that takes place on the Internet is still abuse - & itβs not okay!

I want to write more about this but itβs hard, especially as a survivor who is experiencing this re-traumatization on a regular basis. &/also I think these stories should be, & can really only be told by, fellow survivors. If you havenβt experienced it, you have no idea what itβs like (&/also holding space for nuance in how survivors experience violence differently because of systemic oppression.)
In the mean time, here are a few photos π₯°
If youβd like this zine, you can buy it on Etsy or reach out to me about trading zines π
