your magic is YOU: on becoming magnetic AF
if you want to be magnetic, iconic, & irresistible…
don’t try to be someone else. actually, don’t try to be ANYONE else. let go of that sh*t. it’s boring & it’s already been done.
what you’ve got to do is:
embrace your weirdness; that’s your special sauce. that’s your magic.
take everything that makes you electrically eccentric… your niche AF obsessions, your wildly unconventional lifestyle, your juiciest dreams & even + especially your visionary creative sh*t that people don’t “get”...(yet).
amplify it, babe. dial all of those wonderfully weird things that make you truly YOU up to *at least* an 11/10.
be so f*cking wholeheartedly, enthusiastically, & unapologetically that you can’t be mistaken for anyone else but yourself.
that’s your magic, babe: you.
when you step into your power, into your magic, into YOURSELF, that’s when you’ll become f*cking irresistibly iconic & effortlessly magnetic to your people.
(magnets also repel which means you’ll be shedding the people who aren’t your people. it’s a good thing, martha.)
because being for everybody is actually like, being for nobody. you can’t make everyone happy - & tbh, we’ve got to let go of that people-pleasing sh*t; it won’t protect or free us; it’ll continue to keep us small, quiet, unnoticeable.
& babe, if you’re not there yet, it’s okay. this healing sh*t is nonlinear & you’ve got to trust yourself & your process. you’ll get there!
here’s your tiny but tangible prompt for inspired action:
idk about you but for a long time, i struggled to identify what made me ME (thanks cptsd). something that was - & tbh, still is - really helpful for me is keeping a list of those things: the obscure qualities & traits & quirks that are totally karina. my catchphrases & voice; the things i’m always doing, all the time, the causes i care about, what i love, what i hate, what i rant about, what i obsess over, & so on.
today, start a list of the things that make you YOU in your notes app: values, traits, whatever you’ve got. if you’re unsure, you can look up lists of traits, values, & adjectives to describe people online. you could also ask your friends to describe you (i’ve done this & it’s literally SO supportive in helping me to really see myself in a super affirming way.)
as always, take what resonates, adapt what you need to, & leave the rest behind.
